Spread and escalation of pandemic COVID-19

Foreign media reported that South Africa's energy storage product maker Metair Investments (Metair) has suspended operations of its Romanian Rombat battery plant due to the spread of the epidemic.

At present, Japanese and South Korean companies including Panasonic, Tesla, LG Chemical, and Samsung SDI have all announced the suspension of operations of their battery factories in the United States, and the shutdown will end on April 13.

Affected by the epidemic, China ’s lithium battery exports to Europe and the United States have stagnated as a whole. Many lithium battery companies have said that the export of Europe and the United States in the next two months is basically hopeless.
