1.2 Technical Process Parameters for Battery Electrodes

1. Applicable substrate thickness: Aluminum Foil: 0.010 –0.030 mm, Copper foil: 0.006 –0.030 mm;

2. Applicable substrate width: Aluminum foil: 300 –520 mm, Copper foil: 300 –502 mm;

3. Electrode aluminum/copper foil roll dimensions: Core diameter 3 inches;

4. Technical requirements for coating unwinding/rewinding: Roll diameter  ≤ φ 500 mm, core diameter 3 inches;

5. Coating slurry characteristics: Lithium-ion battery positive/negative electrode slurry, viscosity: 1500 – 15000 CPS; After the slurry is fully stirred to meet battery coating requirements, it should be stored in a running tank with continuous stirring to improve coating performance;

6.  Coating  material   system:  Lithium  cobalt  oxide,  NMC   (ternary  material),   Lithium  iron phosphate, Lithium manganese oxide (affects coating drying efficiency and  speed); Negative electrode carbon/graphite system;

7. ingle-side coating dry thickness (excluding substrate): 50 – 150 μm;

8. Maximum coating wet thickness: 100–300 μm (subject to slurry viscosity conditions).
